The performance and the paperwork.

Both are unforgiving in long-form. Fail either and the title comes back. We treat both as the job.

  • Creative (what audiences notice)

In a ninety-minute film, a lead who is accurate but emotionally flat is obvious by the second act.

  • Technical (what platforms notice)

Channel configuration, loudness tolerance, subtitle format flavor, metadata schema, naming convention, deliverable set completeness.

Titles rarely arrive alone.

Most of our long-form work is catalog: a library entering a new territory, or a back catalog before launch.

  • Set up once

Casting pools, terminology, delivery templates and QC criteria are established once and reused.

  • Cost falls with volume

Setup is amortized, so per-hour cost falls as volume grows.

  • Systemic risk

A template error on one title is an inconvenience. On two hundred, it is a full re-delivery.

  • Proven on a sample

Templates are verified on a sample delivery and confirmed accepted before the catalog runs.

Older titles, missing stems.

Back-catalog film is where missing or unusable M&E turns up most: titles from before stems were routinely archived, independent productions with dialogue mixed into effects, and M&E with dialogue bleed. We check at intake, before the schedule is set, and quote any rebuild separately. On a catalog, finding this in week one rather than week six separates a manageable variation from a renegotiation.

Getting it accepted.

Each platform gets a package built and verified against its own specification, twice: at mixing QC and again at final QC.

Manifests and verification reports kept, so a re-delivery in eighteen months doesn’t start with archaeology.

How we approach it.

  1. 01Technical review firstSource, script, M&E and delivery spec checked before any date.
  2. 02Cast for the full runtimeStamina and range over first impression, so the third act holds.
  3. 03Verify twiceEach package checked at mixing QC and again at final QC.
  4. 04Prove catalog templatesOne title delivered and accepted before the full set runs.
  5. 05Keep the recordsManifests and reports retained for future re-deliveries.

Samples are shared privately on request, since the films are not ours to republish. Name a language and we will arrange samples from cast performers on your own material.

Frequently
Asked Questions.

Do you deliver to platform specifications?
Yes. Each destination gets a package built and verified against its own requirements, loudness, channel configuration, subtitle formats, metadata and naming. Verification runs twice before delivery, and we keep manifests and reports for future re-delivery.
Can you localize an entire back catalog?
Yes, and catalog work is priced more favourably per hour because setup is amortized across titles. We verify delivery templates against a sample title and confirm acceptance before running the full catalog, so a template error cannot propagate across every title.
Do you produce films or web series?
No. TrendsUp Media localizes finished long-form content, dubbing, subtitling, audio post and mastering. We do not produce, film, edit or develop films, series or original video content.
What if an older title has no M&E track?
Then the effects underneath the dialogue have to be rebuilt, which is quoted separately. This is common with back-catalog titles and we identify it during technical review at intake rather than mid-project.
How long does a feature take?
Three days per finished hour per language is the standard, so a typical feature runs about a week per language. Catalogs are run across parallel teams rather than sequentially.
