Spanish Dubbing & Localization Services

Spanish dubbing and localization.

Spanish is the largest dubbing market in the world, and the first decision on any Spanish project is which Spanish. We settle that before casting, not after a client hears the first take.

There is no single Spanish.

The choice is commercial before it is creative: where is your audience, and must one track serve all of it?

  • Neutral Latin American

An artificial register without country slang or accent markers, so one track serves the region. Slightly placeless to native ears.

  • Castilian

Serves Spain. Spanish audiences generally will not accept a Latin American track, and the reverse is even more true.

  • Market-specific (Mexican, Argentine, Colombian)

Authentic in one country, at the cost of the others.

We ask before we cast. If you have no view, we tell you what content like yours usually does. We source per project, so the variant is a casting brief, not a limit.

Spanish runs long.

Spanish typically expands meaningfully against English.

Fixed runtime

On a thirty-second spot or a vertical microdrama, expansion constrains every line.

tú, usted, vos.

Formality varies by region as well as by relationship.

  • tú / usted

The formality choice, set by relationship and region.

  • vos (voseo)

Standard in Argentina and parts of Central America, absent elsewhere.

It is one of the clearest tells of which Spanish a track is in, so it follows the variant decision, not line-by-line choices.

Frequently
Asked Questions.

Which Spanish should I dub into?
It depends on where your audience is. Neutral Latin American Spanish serves the whole region with one track and is what most international content uses. Castilian serves Spain, and Spanish audiences generally will not accept a Latin American track instead. We will ask before casting and advise if you have no preference.
Can one Spanish track cover Spain and Latin America?
In practice, no. Neutral Latin American Spanish covers Latin America well and is poorly received in Spain. If both markets matter, they are two tracks.
Does Spanish dialogue fit the original timing?
Not directly: Spanish generally runs longer than English. That is resolved during adaptation by rewriting to the available time, rather than by asking performers to speed up.
Do you handle voseo?
Yes, where the variant calls for it. Voseo is standard in Argentina and parts of Central America and absent elsewhere, so it follows the variant decision rather than being applied line by line.
