India

Hindi dubbing and localization.

Hindi is the language we deliver most. Native performers, directed sessions, and register decisions made deliberately rather than by default, because in Hindi the vocabulary you choose says as much about a character as the line does.

Every word choice places the character.

None of these is more correct. We choose register per character, record it in the glossary, and hold it across the run.

  • Sanskritized

    Formal and literary.

  • Persian- and Urdu-leaning

    Courtly or poetic.

  • Everyday middle register

Neutral, how most people actually speak.

आप, तुम, तू.

Almost every line between two people encodes status, intimacy and emotional temperature. A move from आप to तुम is plot.

  • आप

    Most formal and respectful.

  • तुम

    Familiar.

  • तू

    Most intimate, or blunt.

The arc is a script decision, not a performance one, so we settle it in adaptation and document it.

English in the middle of the sentence.

Urban Hindi speech carries English constantly. How much to keep depends on the characters and the setting.

  • English removed

Technically pure, sounds like nobody talks.

  • English retained

    How urban characters actually speak.

  • Our method

The level is set with you at script stage, not left to each translator, because inconsistency is audible across a series.

Frequently
Asked Questions.

Who handles your Hindi work?
Hindi is our deepest bench. Translators, reviewers and performers are contracted directly rather than through partner studios, and audio post is handled by our own team.
How do you decide how formal the Hindi should be?
Per character, at script stage, recorded in the project glossary. Hindi vocabulary can lean Sanskritised or Persianised, and the choice signals a character's background and education. Leaving it to default means every character sounds the same.
Should the dialogue include English words?
Usually some, because urban Hindi speech does. The right level depends on the characters and setting, and we agree it with you before translation rather than letting it vary between translators across a series.
Can you handle high episode volumes?
Yes. Hindi is where we most often run multiple teams in parallel against one glossary and one cast, which is how a several-hundred-episode series is delivered without a proportional timeline.
